About

My name is Jono — photographer, filmmaker, and drone pilot based in Mackay. Flow Finesse Media began as a passion for storytelling, but it evolved into something deeper: a commitment to capturing real moments with intention, emotion and artistic precision.

Origin story: I purchased a second-hand camera to take photos on a trip to Vietnam. I fell in love with the craft instantly and came home determined to keep creating — shooting free content for friends who shared the same passions as me. The local barbershop, festivals, motorbikes, my jiujitsu gym, car meets — if something was happening, I was there filming it. Within months, curiosity turned into paid work from friends, family, and businesses… and the rest was history.

I’ve never really been interested in staged smiles — I’m obsessed with creating visuals that feel alive. Whether it’s the electric atmosphere of a gym, the quiet intimacy of a wedding, the raw pride of an athlete, or the warmth of a family milestone. Every shoot is an opportunity to document a story worth remembering.

I bring a cinematic approach to every project by focusing on the details that most people overlook. The expressions, the energy, the mood, the movement. For brands and businesses, my goal is simple: create content that not only looks incredible, but actually works — converting attention into trust, and trust into customers. For families and couples, the goal is creating something real enough to be watched decades from now, still meaningful.

Life moves fast, but photos and film allow us to keep the best parts forever. I followed the flow of life into something I loved, learned to master the craft with finesse, and built a brand around capturing the moments that matter

And that’s how Flow Finesse was born…
